What to Wear
Hands-On Cooking Class:
At ATCO Gas safety is our first priority. To ensure that everyone has a safe and comfortable learning experience we ask that each participant adhere to the following:
- Low-heeled, close-toed shoes are required for full participation in a hands-on cooking class. Individuals will be limited to observing if they are wearing open-toed shoes, including flip-flops and sandals.
- Participants must wear garments that will not interfere with food preparation or pose a hazard when working on a gas cooking surface. No loose or flowing sleeves please.
- An apron will be provided to each participant during the class.
Demonstration Class:
- We recommend comfortable clothing and do not have any further requirements simply for observing.
Location
The ATCO Blue Flame Kitchen Learning Centre is located on the Main Floor, East Tower, of ATCO Centre in downtown Calgary. We are located right at the corner of 11th Avenue and 8th Street SW. The street address is 909 - 11th Avenue S.W.
Enter the Learning Centre from the lobby of the East Tower, or through the main doors into the East Tower.
Parking
Street parking is available in front of the building and all along 11th Avenue S.W. Parking is free after 6:00 p.m. Directions

Register by phone for our Calgary cooking classes and demonstrations by calling 403.245.7630, or in person at the ATCO Blue Flame Kitchen Learning Centre located at 909 - 11th Avenue S.W. in Calgary.

Terms
Cooking classes and demonstrations are paid in full at time of booking and can be made in person or over the telephone. Confirmation of phone registrations will be sent via email and receipts will be available to pick-up when you arrive for your class.
Registration fees are 100% refundable if cancellation is received seven days prior to the day of the class. Registration is transferable if notice of cancellation is received at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled class. Last minute cancellations and no-shows will not receive reimbursement or class credit.
If you are unable to attend a scheduled class, you may choose to send someone in your place. If possible, please call in advance to let us know if you are making a switch so we can accommodate this change.
Note: If registration for a class is less than six people, we reserve the right to cancel the class to ensure participants enjoy the very best experience possible. We will make every effort to contact guests in advance and will offer you an opportunity to re-book for another class or provide a full refund.
