WEEKEND CLASSES
You worked hard all week and now it’s time to kick back and have some fun. Grab some friends and join us for a cooking class. Depending on the type of class selected our Chef Instructors may either demonstrate how to make the dishes you are served or a hands-on component has been incorporated in the class.
All classes end with a delicious meal and the featured recipes are provided.
Beyond The Basics: Seafood (Saturday, May 26)Join us and find out why life truly is better under the sea. Let our chefs guide you through creating fabulous and fresh seafood dishes. Previous cooking experience not required but would be an asset in this class.
Tapas Night (Saturday, June 2)
*This class is from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. and $65.00 + GST per person
From Spanish descent, “tapas” stimulate conversation and togetherness. Share a selection of hot, cold, savoury, and sweet tapas.
Learn to Cook: Summer Desserts (Saturday, June 9)
You’ll learn to create some utterly irresistible summer desserts - perfect for a touch of summer.
The Ultimate Grilling Experience* (Saturday, June 16)
This hands-on grilling class will help all cooks acquire new BBQ skills or improve their current outdoor cooking techniques. You will experience hands on grilling of quick meats, fish, vegetables, and even desserts. Plus you will learn how to make rubs, sauces, salads and sides. The grand finale is a BBQ feast of slow roasted beef brisket, mouth watering ribs, salads, sides and dessert. Take home all the recipes plus our newest cookbook " From the Grill". Chef’s Table – Made in Alberta (Saturday, June 23)
Our culinary team will share their love for local foods and the heritage of the artisans who bring them to the table. The dishes created will be a celebration o f the bounty of Alberta.
Beyond the Basics: Pasta Gnocchi (Saturday, June 30)
Building upon our introduction class to Pasta, this class will have you experiencing pasta making from scratch, simmering your way to a fine mushroom cream sauce and creating a masterpiece of Gnocchi with Bolognaise Sauce. Previous cooking experience not required but would be an asset in this class.
Summer Tapas (Saturday, August 25)
From Spanish descent, “tapas” stimulate conversation and togetherness. Learn how to create these tiny bites as you sample a selection of hot, cold and savoury appetizers that capture the flavours of summer.
