April Classes

Guten tag! Join us to pay homage to Germany’s rich culinary history with this hands-on class. We’ll be exploring a number of classic German cooking techniques and making delicious European favourites, including homemade spaetzle.
This class run from 6 – 8 p.m.
Looking to expand your vegetarian recipe repertoire? Whether you live a meat-free lifestyle or just want to cut down on the amount of meat you consume, this class will get you on the right foot with some flavour-packed vegetarian dishes like our spicy Bangkok bean curry.
Mastering the art of the delicate crêpe is quite an accomplishment — but once you get the hang of it, you won’t be able to stop making these delicious French pancakes for family and friends. In addition to the all-important dessert crêpes, we’ll show you some savoury variations, including crêpes with a rich mushroom cream sauce.

Hands-On: Nice and Cheesy (Saturday, April 27) $85
Cheese can be used for so much more than pizza or fondue — at this class we’ll explore all of the wild and wonderful things you can do in the kitchen with cheese. Expect the unexpected as our instructors share recipes for irresistible cheese dishes like our spiced rhubarb goat brie.
This class runs from 10 a.m.  – 1 p.m.

May Classes

Homemade gnocchi — the delicious Italian dumpling dish often called “little pillows of love” — is so much better than the doughy store-bought stuff. Our instructors will show you how to make a batch of perfect potato gnocchi along with and easy marinara sauce.

Hands-On: Interactive Mother's Day Brunch (Saturday, May 11) $85

Treat the mom in your life to an incredible three-course Mother’s Day brunch that you can make together. Our instructors will guide you through the creation of dishes like our indulgent brie-stuffed baguette French toast. The three-hour class also gives you plenty of time to sit down and enjoy this special meal.

This class runs from 10 a.m. 1 p.m.

Many of us know Vietnamese cuisine for its hot bowls of pho and plates of vermicelli noodles, but some of our favourite Vietnamese dishes fall into the appetizer category. In this hands-on class, our instructors will show you how to create a series of delicious Vietnamese appies, including authentic Vietnamese spring rolls.

This class runs from 6 8 p.m.

We can’t say it enough: using foil packets is one of the easiest ways to cook delicate foods, especially on the barbecue. Learn the ins-and-outs of this ingenious cooking method as we walk you through a few dishes, including a succulent arctic char en papillote.

We love a simply seasoned grilled steak, but barbecue season has just begun and it’s nice to have some tricks up your sleeve to keep things interesting. In this class, we’ll show you three different variations on your standard barbecued steak, including an ultra-flavourful jerk flank steak.

June Classes

Hands-On: From the Market (Saturday, June 8) $85
Learn how to transform your fresh market finds into delicious recipes like a veggie-packed ratatouille. In the class, we'll take you through how to select the best ingredients and tips on preparing all while whipping up a farm-fresh feast. Your fee includes: 3-hour class, lunch, beverages and a recipe package.

Hands-On: Mad About Bacon (Thursday, June 13) $65
Can’t get enough bacon? Bacon is about much more than breakfast — our instructors will go through all of the different ways that bacon can be used, making dishes like our show-stopping bacon-wrapped pork tenderloin with chorizo (yes, that’s three kinds of pork in one dish!).

Yes, it is already time to kick off summer pie season! We love the idea of using the waves of seasonal summer fruit to create different kinds of pie throughout the summer. We’ll get you started with an irresistible raspberry cream pie and give you plenty ideas on how to use the rest of the summer’s bounty.

Celebrate the official start of summer with this session that brings together seasonal food and wines. We'll be making patio-worthy appies, like roasted garlic flatbread with charred red onion dip, grilled antipasto, and ginger lime grilled shrimp, which will all be perfectly paired with wines provided by our sommelier instructor
It’s time to think beyond steaks and burgers. So many kinds of seafood cook up beautifully on the barbecue and our instructors will help you get over the intimidation factor that comes with grilling seafood. We’ll expand your barbecue repertoire with recipes like our crowd-pleasing barbecued seafood in a bag.
