Learn about different types of cuisine and new techniques to be successful in your home kitchen. Classes are demonstration or hands-on and times may vary. Before taking a class, please review our participant details.

January Classes

Hands-On: Meatless Meals  (Thursday, January 12) $50
Are you curious about how to incorporate more vegetarian or vegan meals into your weekly routine? Want to learn how to make meatless recipes that taste delicious? Join us in making and sampling vegetarian dishes that won’t make you miss the meat!  

Hands-On: Cabbage Rolls (Thursday, January 19) $50
Want to learn to make cabbage rolls like a Ukrainian Baba? Learn some tips and tricks and the many variations for making the stuffed rolls.  Try your hand at making cabbage rolls with both fresh and sour leaves.  Sample a batch and take some with you to enjoy at home.
Hands-On: Scrumptious Sweet Doughs (Saturday, January 21) $50
There is nothing quite like fresh, warm homemade bread. Learn how to enrich a basic dough to create deliciously decadent, sweet doughs. Create your own gooey cinnamon buns and take them home for an indulgent treat.
This class runs from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Hands-On: Thai Inspired Appetizers (Thursday, January 26) $50
Contrasting flavours of hot and spicy, sweet and salty, sour, fragrant and pungent – all of these flavours combine to create the tastes of Thailand. Join us and try your hand at making flavorful Thai-inspired appetizers!

February Classes

Hands-On: Homemade Ravioli (Thursday, February 2) $50
There’s nothing quite like fresh pasta, and making it yourself is easier than you might think! In this class, you will learn to make pasta dough, form ravioli and make a delicious filling. Take home the ravioli you make to enjoy with your favourite sauce.

Hands-On:​ Tapas & Wine Date Night (Friday, February 17) $75
Looking for a fun and interactive date night and a perfect Valentine’s Day gift? Join us for homemade tapas and wine tasting. Register with a loved one and work as couples to prepare a variety of small plate recipes.  Then, learn how to pair delicious wines with your creations. 

Hands-On: Samosas (Thursday, February 23) $50
Perfect for any time of year, samosas are a great Indian snack often served as an exciting appetizer. Impress your friends and family by making two different types of samosas. We’ll show you all the tips and tricks that you’ll needed for samosa success.

March Classes

Hands-On:  Perogy Making (Thursday, March 2) $50
Perogies are a favourite food item in many Albertan homes, but the thought of making them from scratch can seem daunting. Learn how easy it can be to make fresh, homemade perogies and take your creations home with you for dinner!
