Kids Cooler

Sneak some extra fruit and vegetables into your child’s diet by serving this refreshing green beverage.

​1 cup (250 mL) cubed seeded English cucumber
1 cup (250 mL) fresh spinach
1 cup (250 mL) seedless green grapes
1/2 cup (125 mL) thawed frozen limeade concentrate
2 cups (500 mL) cubed honeydew melon
1/2 cup (125 mL) cubed peeled kiwi fruit
1/2 cup (125 mL) green tea, chilled
1 cup (250 mL) vanilla yogurt

​Place cucumber, spinach, grapes and limeade concentrate in a blender.  Blend, using an on/off motion, until cucumber, spinach and grapes are finely chopped.  Add melon, kiwi and green tea; puree until smooth.  Add yogurt and blend until combined.

 Pour into glasses.  Serve immediately.  Serves 4 – 6.
