2 tbsp (25 mL) butter, melted
1/2 tsp (2 mL) thyme, crumbled
1/4 tsp (1 mL) salt
1/4 tsp (1 mL) freshly ground pepper
2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
4 cups (1 L) whole mushrooms
1/4 cup (50 mL) sliced green onion
2 tbsp (25 mL) chopped fresh parsley

Combine melted butter, thyme, salt, pepper and garlic. Place mushrooms in centre of a large piece of heavy-duty foil. Pour melted butter mixture over mushrooms. Sprinkle with green onion and parsley. Bring edges of foil together to form a packet; close all edges with tight double folds. Cook over medium heat on natural gas barbecue, turning packet over frequently, for 15 - 20 minutes or until mushrooms are tender. Serves 6.
