​2 slices whole wheat bread
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp oil
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/8 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper

​1. Cut bread slices into cubes.
2. Melt butter with oil in frypan over medium heat.
3. Add garlic powder, salt and pepper. Stir.
4. Add bread cubes and stir to coat with butter mixture.
5. Cook and stir until lightly browned.
6. Spoon onto a plate to cool.
7. Sprinkle over green salad.
