Do you have a budding chef in the making? Designed for kids ages 9-12, our hands-on cooking camp is the perfect place for your youngsters to explore their culinary creativity. We provide a fun and safe environment for your kids to make delicious dishes, develop kitchen confidence and cultivate a lifelong skill and love of cooking.
Under the guidance of our Red Seal Chefs, your kids will learn the basics of food preparation, kitchen safety and cooking techniques, all while having a whole lot of fun! And that's not all – each day, your junior chefs get to take home their creative culinary creations for you to sample as well.

Cooking great dishes takes far more than just following recipes. It requires familiarity with kitchen tools and appliances, an understanding of ingredients and respect for food safety. Your kids will learn all of this and more in our fully-equipped, professional-grade kitchen located in ATCO Park.

What will my kid need to bring?
We provide snacks, lunch, cooking ingredients and equipment. All your kids need to bring is their appetite and the willingness to learn!

What is your staff to children ratio?
Our staffing model will be 1 chef instructor for each group of 24 children, with 2-3 camp counselors for oversight and coordination.

Is there before and after care?
Complimentary before and after care is available from 8:30 – 9 am and from 4 – 4:30 pm.

Do you accommodate food allergies?
Due to the volume of the recipes campers will be making, we are unable to accommodate any food allergies or dietary restrictions. If your child has a food allergy that you believe will restrict what they are able to eat during the camp (snacks and lunch), we advise that they bring a bagged lunch.

What is your inclusion policy?
Our cooking camps strive to be an inclusive environment for all children. Please make us aware of any disabilities or behavioural needs that may affect your child’s participation.
While our goal is inclusive participation, there are times when a child requires more support than our staff can provide. Therefore, we welcome the opportunity for parents to send a support person to accompany the child.
