One pound (500 g) uncooked boneless meat, such as beef, pork, chicken, turkey or ham, yields about 2 cups (500 mL) chopped cooked meat. For example, if a recipe calls for 2 cups (500 mL) chopped cooked chicken, cook one pound (500 g) boneless skinless chicken breasts.​
