APRICOT BARBECUE SAUCE
Sweet and sticky apricot jam is an ideal addition to this easy homemade barbecue sauce. Brush it on chicken or ribs before grilling or, smear it on a hamburger bun in place of ketchup.
Yield: Makes 1 2/3 cups.

APRICOT BARBECUE SAUCE
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup apricot jam
- 3/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp fancy molasses
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a medium non-reactive saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature, stirring occasionally. May be refrigerated for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
