ASIAN TURKEY BURGERS

Transform your grilled turkey burgers with fresh herbs, soy sauce and a dash of hot sauce.

ASIAN TURKEY BURGERS

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (0.5 kg) ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup fresh bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh mint
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp hot pepper sauce
  • 4 hamburger buns or hamburger-style pita bread
  • Lettuce leaves and sweet pickle slices*

Directions

  1. Preheat natural gas barbecue on medium heat for 10 - 15 minutes.
  2. Combine turkey, bread crumbs, cilantro, mint, basil, garlic, lime juice, soy sauce, sugar, salt and hot pepper sauce. Shape mixture into 4 patties.
  3. Grill patties until completely cooked. Serve in buns with lettuce and pickles.
