ASIAN TURKEY BURGERS

ASIAN TURKEY BURGERS
Ingredients
- 1 lb (0.5 kg) ground turkey
- 1/2 cup fresh bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh mint
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp hot pepper sauce
- 4 hamburger buns or hamburger-style pita bread
- Lettuce leaves and sweet pickle slices*
Directions
- Preheat natural gas barbecue on medium heat for 10 - 15 minutes.
- Combine turkey, bread crumbs, cilantro, mint, basil, garlic, lime juice, soy sauce, sugar, salt and hot pepper sauce. Shape mixture into 4 patties.
- Grill patties until completely cooked. Serve in buns with lettuce and pickles.
