BASIC PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups smooth or crunchy peanut butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Using medium speed of an electric mixer, beat together peanut butter, sugar and egg until well blended. Shape dough into 1 1/2 inch balls. Place balls 2 inches apart on parchment paper-lined cookie sheets. Using a fork dipped in sugar, flatten each ball in a criss-cross pattern.
- Bake until cookies are golden, about 15 - 20 minutes. Let cookies stand for 5 minutes on cookie sheets. Remove from cookie sheets and cool on racks. May be frozen for up to 2 months.
