BUTTERSCOTCH HOT CHOCOLATE
This decadent hot chocolate is a great drink to serve to company or to enjoy on a cold night when you need a warm treat.

BUTTERSCOTCH HOT CHOCOLATE
Ingredients
- 8 oz (224 g) semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
- 4 cups milk
- 1 cup butterscotch liqueur
- Sweetened whipped cream
- Chocolate shavings
Directions
- Combine chocolate and milk in a medium saucepan.
- Cook over low heat, whisking constantly, until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth and steaming. Do not boil.
- Remove from heat; stir in liqueur.
- Pour into mugs. Top each serving with a dollop of whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
