CHEWY GRANOLA AND CRISPY RICE BARS
Ingredients
- 1 pkg (400 g) marshmallows
- 1/4 cup salted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 4 cups granola
- 1 1/2 cups crisp rice cereal
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
Directions
- Combine marshmallows and butter in a Dutch oven. Cook over low heat, stirring frequently, until marshmallows are melted.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
- Stir in granola, cereal, sunflower seeds and cranberries.
- Press mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking pan.
- Cover and refrigerate until firm.
- Cut into bars. Wrap bars individually in plastic wrap. Store in a cool dry place for up to 1 week. May be frozen for up to 1 month.
