CHICKEN IN MAPLE SAUCE
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp butter
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup maple-flavoured pancake syrup
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 1/2 tsp grated orange peel
Directions
- Melt butter in a frypan over medium heat.
- Add chicken and cook until chicken is golden brown and cooked through, about 5 - 6 minutes per side. Transfer to a serving dish; keep warm.
- To prepare maple sauce, add remaining ingredients (syrup through orange peel) to frypan.
- Bring to a boil, scraping to loosen browned bits. Boil until mixture is slightly thickened, about 2 - 3 minutes.
- Pour maple sauce over chicken.
