CINNAMON RAISIN CREAM CHEESE LOG
This tasty spread is great to have on hand for quick breakfasts over the holiday season. Spread it on bagels or toast.
Yield: Makes 1 1/2 cup.

CINNAMON RAISIN CREAM CHEESE LOG
Ingredients
- 8 oz (250 g) cream cheese, softened
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- Pinch salt
- 3/4 cup chopped toasted walnuts, divided
- 1/4 cup golden raisins, chopped
Directions
- Using medium speed of an electric mixer, beat together cream cheese, syrup, cinnamon and salt until smooth.
- Stir in 1/4 cup walnuts and raisins. Cover and refrigerate until firm enough to handle.
- Shape into a log about 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Roll in remaining 1/2 cup walnuts.
- Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or up to 2 days.
