Cinnamon Steel-Cut Oats with Berries

Start your day off right! Hearty steel-cut oats seasoned to perfection and topped with four types of berries. Can it get any better?

Cinnamon Steel-Cut Oats with Berries

Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup steel-cut oats
  • ¼ cup liquid honey
  • 1 tbsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blackberries
  • 1 cup hulled and quartered fresh or frozen strawberries

Directions

  1. Bring water and salt to a boil over medium-high heat. Add oats and return to a boil. Stir in honey, vanilla and cinnamon. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, stirring occasionally, until oats are tender, about 20 – 30 minutes. Fold in berries; serve immediately.
