  • ​1 19 inch baguette, sliced (¼ inch)
  • ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • ¼ tsp freshly ground pepper


  1. ​Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Place baguette slices on parchment paper-lined baking sheets. Brush slices with oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  3. Bake, switching position of pans halfway through baking for even browning, until crisp and golden brown, about 8 – 10 minutes. Cool in pans on wire racks.
