Farfelle with Herb Cream Sauce

Fresh and simple pasta with flavourful herbs and a creamy tomato sauce.

Farfelle with Herb Cream Sauce


  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 1/4 cups diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh oregano
  • 8 oz cream cheese, cubed
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 3 cups farfalle pasta, cooked and drained


  1. To prepare herb cream sauce, heat oil in a frypan over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and saute for 1 minute. Reduce heat and stir in tomatoes, basil and oregano; cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes or just until heated through.
  3. Add cream cheese and cook, stirring constantly, until melted. Stir in parsley.
  4. Toss herb cream sauce with hot cooked farfalle. Serve immediately.
