Green Beans with Lemon and Pecans
This quick and easy side is a great flavourful way to eat your greens.

Green Beans with Lemon and Pecans
Ingredients
- 4 cups sliced green beans
- 1/4 cup sliced green onion
- 1 tsp grated lemon peel
- 1/4 tsp rosemary, crumbled, optional
- 2 tbsp salted butter
- 1/4 cup chopped toasted pecans
- 1/4 tsp salt
Directions
- Cook beans in boiling water just until tender, about 5 minutes; drain.
- Meanwhile, sauté onion, lemon peel and rosemary in butter for 2 minutes. Stir in beans, pecans and salt. Serve immediately.
