Bake green beans with basil and tangy sundried tomatoes for a flavourful side dish.

GREEN BEANS WITH SUN DRIED TOMATOES

Ingredients

  • ​4 cups green beans, trimmed
  • 1/3 cup chopped drained oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes, patted dry
  • 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp basil, crumbled
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp freshly ground pepper

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a bowl; toss until beans are coated. Place bean mixture in a single layer in a non-stick foil-lined rimmed baking sheet. Bake, uncovered, for 12 minutes or until beans are tender.
