HONEY CRANBERRY SAUCE

Ingredients

• 1 pkg (12 oz / 340 g) cranberries
• 1 3/4 cups cranberry juice
• 3/4 cup honey
• 1 tbsp grated orange peel
• 2 cinnamon sticks (4 inches)
• 1 bay leaf
• 1/8 tsp cloves
• Dash salt

Directions

1. Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil.
2. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until berries pop and sauce is thickened, about 20 minutes. Remove cinnamon sticks and bay leaf; cool. Cover and refrigerate for up to 4 days.
