KALE SMOOTHIE

Make your smoothie a green one by adding in healthy fresh kale. This convenient breakfast drink is sweetened with apple juice and mango.

Yield: Serves 3.

KALE SMOOTHIE

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh or frozen cubed mango
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped kale
  • 1 medium banana, sliced
  • 1 cup apple juice
  • 1 cup plain yogurt

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender; purée until smooth. Pour into glasses. Serve immediately.
