Key Lime Tarts
Ingredients
- 3 large egg yolks
- 1 can (300mL) sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 12 unbaked tart shells
Directions
- Pre-heat oven to 350°F.
- Place tarts shells on a large rimmed cookie sheet.
- Using medium speed of an electric mixer, beat egg yolks until thick and pale.
- Gradually beat in condensed milk, lime juice, and vanilla.
- Pour into tart shells.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until set.
- Cool tarts completely on a rack. May be frozen for up to 1 month.
