This layered party dip has all of the elements of a Greek salad. It goes great with pita bread or your favourite crackers.

Yield: Serves 8.



  • 1 container (250 g) spreadable herb and garlic cream cheese
  • 2 cups crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/4 tsp oregano, crumbled
  • 1/4 tsp freshly ground pepper
  • 1/8 tsp dill weed
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 cup diced seeded Roma tomatoes
  • 1 cup diced seeded English cucumber
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced green onion
  • 2 tbsp sliced pitted kalamata olives
  • 2 tbsp crumbled feta cheese


  1. Using medium speed of an electric mixer, beat together first 7 ingredients (cream cheese through garlic) until blended
  2. Spoon cream cheese mixture into a 9 inch pie plate or serving dish; spread evenly. Sprinkle with tomatoes, cucumber, green onion and olives. Top with 2 tbsp feta cheese.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or up to 2 days. Serve with pita bread or crackers.
