LEMON MUSTARD GLAZED HALIBUT

This barbecued fish gets a rich flavour boost from a buttery lemon Dijon glaze. Serve with rice and steamed vegetables for a light weeknight meal.

LEMON MUSTARD GLAZED HALIBUT

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp salted butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp basil, crumbled
  • 1/4 tsp freshly ground pepper
  • 4 small or two large halibut steaks

Directions

  1. Preheat natural gas barbecue on medium heat for 10 - 15 minutes
  2. Combine all ingredients except halibut. Brush both sides of steaks with lemon mixture.
  3. Grill steaks on an oiled grid over medium heat on natural gas barbecue until fish flakes easily with a fork, about 10 - 12 minutes per inch of thickness. Brush with lemon mixture during grilling.
