NO BAKE CEREAL BARS
These wholesome treats are packed with almonds, dried fruit, bran cereal and both pumpkin and sunflower seeds. There’s no need to bake them — everything is held together by a sticky mixture of honey, peanut butter and brown sugar.

NO BAKE CEREAL BARS
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup packed dark brown sugar
- 2 tbsp salted butter
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 2 cups shredded bran cereal
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries or raisins
- 1/2 cup shelled pumpkin seeds
- 1/2 cup sunflower seed
Directions
- Line a 9 inch square baking pan with non-stick foil.
- Combine honey, peanut butter, brown sugar and butter in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and stir in cinnamon, vanilla and salt.
- Stir in bran cereal, almonds, cranberries, pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds until blended.
- Press mixture into prepared pan. Cover and refrigerate until firm.
- Cut into bars. Wrap each bar individually in plastic wrap. Store in a cool dry place for up to 1 week. May be frozen for up to 2 months.
