NUTMEG MASHED POTATOES
Ingredients
- 6 cups cubed peeled russet potatoes
- 1 cup hot milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 tsp freshly ground nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp freshly ground pepper
Directions
- Cook potatoes in boiling salted water until tender; drain. Add milk, butter, nutmeg, salt and pepper. Using low speed of an electric mixer, beat mixture for 1 minute or just until smooth. Do not overbeat.
