One Pot TORTELLINI DINNER

Use store-bought tomato sauce and tortellini to put together this quick weeknight dinner. We like doing it all in One Pot to cut down on dishes.

One Pot TORTELLINI DINNER

Ingredients

  • 1 jar (700 mL) tomato-based pasta sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 tsp freshly ground pepper
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 pkg (350 g) refrigerated cheese tortellini
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped fresh spinach
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. Combine pasta sauce, water, pepper and garlic in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
  2. Add tortellini and simmer, covered, stirring occasionally, until tortellini is tender, about 9 - 10 minutes. Stir in spinach.
  3. Cook, covered, for 2 minutes. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
