PEPPER SAUCED WINGS WITH FETA DIP

These tasty baked chicken wings are seasoned with green pepper sauce. Cool them off with our creamy Feta Dip.

Yield: Makes about 40.

PEPPER SAUCED WINGS WITH FETA DIP

Ingredients

  • 3 lb (1.5 kg) chicken wing drumettes
  • 1/2 tsp seasoning salt
  • 2 tbsp salted butter
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1/4 cup green pepper sauce
  • Feta Dip*

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. Place chicken in a single layer in a large non-stick foil-lined rimmed baking sheet. Sprinkle with seasoning salt.
  3. Bake, uncovered, stirring occasionally, until wings are golden brown, about 50 - 55 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Stir in green pepper sauce and bring to a simmer. Remove from heat.
  5. Transfer wings to a large bowl. Pour green pepper sauce mixture over wings and toss to coat. Transfer wings and any remaining green pepper sauce mixture to a serving dish. Serve with Feta Dip.

FETA DIP

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup light sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cup shredded feta cheese

Yield: Makes about 1 cup.

Directions

  1. Combine sour cream, mayonnaise and vinegar in a bowl. Stir in cheese. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or up to 2 days. Do not freeze.
