PUMPKIN PIE
Ingredients
- 2 large eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 3/4 cups unsweetened pumpkin purée
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1 can (354 mL) evaporated milk or 1 1/2 cups light cream (10%)
- 9 inch unbaked pastry shell
Directions
- Preheat oven to 425ºF.
- Combine all ingredients except pastry shell.
- Pour mixture into pastry shell. Bake for 15 minutes.
- Reduce temperature to 350ºF and continue baking 45 minutes or until knife inserted in centre comes out clean.
- Let cool before serving.
