RASPBERRY SAUCE

You can whip up a batch of this sauce with frozen raspberries any time of the year. Drizzle it over ice cream, cheesecake, waffles or other desserts.

RASPBERRY SAUCE

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg (425 g) frozen sweetened raspberries, thawed
  • Sugar, optional
  • Lemon juice, optional

Yield: 1 1/2 cups

Directions

  1. Puree raspberries in a blender or food processor. Force puree through a fine sieve to remove seeds, if desired. Sweeten to taste with sugar, if desired. A dash of lemon juice enhances the flavour.
