SLOW COOKER CORIANDER BEEF STEW
            Ingredients
- 3 lb (1.5 kg) boneless beef chuck steak, cubed
 - 2 cups sliced onions
 - 2 cups baby carrots
 - 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
 - 1 1/2 cups sliced celery
 - 1 can (14 oz / 398 mL) stewed tomatoes
 - 2 tbsp coriander
 - 1 tbsp ginger
 - 1 1/2 tsp salt
 - 1/2 tsp freshly ground pepper
 - 1/2 tsp thyme, crumbled
 - 1/4 tsp nutmeg
 - 1/4 cup water
 - 1/4 cup flour
 
Directions
- Combine first 12 ingredients (beef through nutmeg) in a 5 - 6 quart (5 - 6 L) slow cooker.
 - Cover and cook on low heat setting for 6 - 7 hours or until meat is tender.
 - Increase to high heat setting. Whisk together water and flour until smooth. Stir into stew.
 - Cover and cook for 30 minutes or until stew is thickened.
