SOUR CHERRY PEACH CRISP
Peaches and sour cherries complement each other beautifully in this easy summer dessert.

SOUR CHERRY PEACH CRISP
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup old-fashioned or quick-cooking rolled oats
- 1/2 cup packed golden brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 cup salted butter, chilled and cubed
- 4 cups pitted sour cherries, halved
- 2 cups cubed unpeeled peaches
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 3 tbsp quick-cooking tapioca
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- To prepare topping, combine flour, oats, brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Cut in butter with a pastry blender until mixture is crumbly; set aside.
- Combine cherries, peaches, sugar and tapioca in a separate bowl. Spoon cherry mixture into a greased 7 x 11 inch baking dish. Sprinkle with topping.
- Bake until cherry mixture is bubbly and topping is golden, about 40 minutes. Serve warm.
