SOUTHWESTERN CORN ON THE COB

Give your barbecued corn the southwestern treatment by wrapping it in bacon and seasoning it with chili powder. This is a great accompaniment to burgers, steak or other grilled fare.

SOUTHWESTERN CORN ON THE COB

Ingredients

  • 8 slices bacon
  • 8 cobs corn, husked
  • 3 tbsp chili powder

Directions

  1. Preheat natural gas barbecue on medium heat for 10 - 15 minutes.
  2. Wrap a bacon slice around each cob of corn; place each on a sheet of foil. Sprinkle with chili powder and wrap tightly with foil.
  3. Grill, turning frequently, until lightly browned, about 20 minutes.
