Spicy Chicken Wings

Saucy, finger licking, and very spicy just how you like it. 

Yield: Makes about 50 wings

Spicy Chicken Wings

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup liquid honey
  • 1/3 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1/3 cup dry sherry
  • 1/4 cup cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup marmalade
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 slice orange
  • 1 slice lemon
  • 4 slices fresh ginger
  • 4 drops Tabasco sauce
  • 4 lbs (2 kg) chicken wings

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients except wings in a stainless-steel saucepan. Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes. Reserve 1/2 cup for basting; refrigerate.
  2. Pour the rest of the marinade over wings and refrigerate overnight.
  3. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  4. Remove wings from marinade and arrange on a rack in a shallow pan.
  5. Bake for 40 – 50 minutes basting with remaining marinade every 20 minutes.
