SPICY HONEY GARLIC WINGS

These baked chicken wings are covered in a spicy blend of honey-garlic sauce and Louisiana-style hot sauce. Serve them with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.

Yield: Makes about 10.

SPICY HONEY GARLIC WINGS

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp canola oil
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp freshly ground pepper
  • 1 lb (0.5 kg) chicken wings
  • 1/3 cup honey garlic sauce
  • 3 tbsp Louisiana-style hot sauce
  • Ranch or blue cheese salad dressing*

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Combine oil, salt and pepper in a bowl. Add chicken and toss to coat. Place chicken in a single layer in a large rimmed parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
  3. Bake until wings are golden brown and crisp, about 40 – 50 minutes.
  4. Transfer wings to a large bowl. Pour honey garlic sauce and hot sauce over wings; toss to coat. Transfer wings and any remaining sauce to a serving dish. Serve with salad dressing.
