Summer Herb Rub

Rubs provide stronger flavor than marinades because they stick to the surface of the food.  Bring the flavours of summer to your next barbecue with our Summer Herb Rub.

Yield: Makes about 2 tbsp

Summer Herb Rub


  • 2 tsp rosemary, crumbled
  • 2 tsp thyme, crumbled
  • 2 tsp dehydrated minced onion
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 3/4 tsp freshly ground pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt


  1. Combine all ingredients. Store in an airtight container in a cool dry place. Use as a rub on chicken, pork, lamb, or fish.
