Tandoori Rub

Rubs are seasoning mixtures applied to foods to flavor them before grilling. Enjoy the warm and spicy flavours of India using our Tandoori Rub on your next barbecue dinner.

Yield: Makes about 1/3 cup

Tandoori Rub


  • 1 tbsp ground coriander
  • 1 tbsp ground cumin
  • 1 tbsp ground ginger
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp thyme, crumbled


  1. Combine all ingredients. Store in an airtight container in a cool dry place. Use as a rub on pork, lamb, or chicken.
