Thai Rub

Rubs provide a stronger flavor than marinades because they stick to the surface of the food. Try our versatile and flavourful Thai Rub, it is delicious on beef, pork, chicken, or fish. 

Yield: Makes about 1/3 cup

Thai Rub


  • 4 tsp basil, crumbled
  • 4 tsp mint, crumbled
  • 2 tsp ground ginger
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp freshly ground pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder


  1. Combine all ingredients. Store in an airtight container in a cool dry place.
