Wrap your tuna salad in tortillas for a change from regular tuna sandwiches. These tasty wraps are great to take to work or school for lunch.

Yield: Serves 4.



  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 tsp freshly ground pepper
  • 2 cans (170 g each) chunk light tuna, drained
  • 1/2 cup chopped drained water chestnuts
  • 1/2 cup thinly sliced green onions
  • 1/3 cup chopped red or green bell pepper
  • 4 flour tortillas (8 inch)
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce


  1. Combine mayonnaise, mustard and pepper in a medium bowl. Stir in tuna, water chestnuts, onions and bell pepper.
  2. Spoon tuna mixture evenly down the centre of each tortilla. Top each with 1/2 cup lettuce. Fold bottom edge of each tortilla 1 inch over tuna mixture. Fold sides of tortillas to centres, overlapping edges. Serve immediately or wrap individually in plastic wrap and refrigerate for up to 2 hours.
