Virgin Chai Sangria

Bright with a hint of chai spices, this sangria is kid-friendly. Add this festive drink to your holiday table. 

Yield: Makes 6 cups

Virgin Chai Sangria

Ingredients

  • 4 chai tea bags
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/4 cup liquid honey
  • 4 cups raspberry-cranberry cocktail
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 orange

Directions

  1. Combine tea bags, water and honey in a small saucepan, bring to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and remove tea bags. Cool to lukewarm.
  2. Pour tea mixture and cranberry cocktail into a large pitcher. Using a knife, slice half of each the lemon and orange. Place slices into pitcher. Squeeze juice from the other half of lemon and orange directly into the pitcher. If desired, squeezed halves may also be placed in pitcher.
  3. Refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight.
