Whole Wheat and Honey Bread
This healthy whole wheat honey bread is simple to make by adding a few ingredients to a bread machine. Use this delicious bread to make sandwiches or at teatime and enjoy it toasted with your favourite jam.
Storage Time: 2 days on the shelf, 7 days in the refrigerator and up to 2 months in the freezer.

Whole Wheat and Honey Bread
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1/3 cup liquid honey
- 2 tbsp canola oil
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 2 tbsp skim milk powder
- 1 tsp bread machine yeast
Directions
- Place ingredients into baking pan of bread machine in the order in which they are listed or follow manufacturer’s operating instructions. Select the whole wheat bread cycle.
- Remove baked bread from pan and cool on a rack.

Tip: If you're not using the timer delay to make this bread, you can use 1 cup water and 1/2 cup milk and no powdered milk.
