Ingredients: 1/4 cup dry white wine; 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice; 1 tbsp Dijon mustard; 2 tsp chopped fresh rosemary; 1/4 tsp grated lemon peel; 1/4 tsp freshly ground pepper; 8 lamb loin chops, 1 inch thick

Lamb chops cook up beautifully on the barbecue. This elegant grilled meat dish is first marinated in a blend of white wine, Dijon mustard, lemon and rosemary.

Yield: Serves 4.

Ingredients

1/4 cup dry white wine
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
2 tsp chopped fresh rosemary
1/4 tsp grated lemon peel
1/4 tsp freshly ground pepper
8 lamb loin chops, 1 inch thick

Directions

To prepare marinade, combine all ingredients except lamb in a heavy zip-lock plastic bag. Add lamb and squeeze bag to coat lamb with marinade; seal bag. Let stand for 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, preheat natural gas barbecue on low heat for 10 - 15 minutes.
Remove lamb from marinade; discard marinade. Grill lamb over low heat on natural gas barbecue to desired doneness.
