Peeling Ginger
Ginger comes in all different shapes and sizes, which can make it difficult to peel. To start, make it more manageable by breaking it into obvious chunks. Cut off any of the pieces that stick out or look like they may have sprouted. The more even the surface, the easier it is to peel. Once it’s tidied up, take a peeler and peel down the skin, leaving only the heart of the ginger. Once you have this cleaned piece of ginger, you can get on with slicing, dicing or mincing.
