PEACH SALSA

Sweet and spicy, this chopped salsa is a mix of fresh peaches, cucumber and serrano chiles. Use it with our Pork Lettuce Wraps with Peach Salsa or serve it with grilled fish or chicken.

Yield: Makes 1 1/2 cup.

PEACH SALSA

Ingredients

  • 1 cup diced peeled peaches
  • 1/4 cup diced red bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup diced seeded English cucumber
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced green onion
  • 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 1 tbsp packed golden brown sugar
  • 2 tsp finely chopped seeded serrano chiles
  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp soy sauce

Directions

  1. ​Combine all ingredients in a bowl. May be refrigerated for up to 2 hours.

Tip: Hot peppers cause severe skin and eye irritation. Wear disposable gloves when handling hot peppers and avoid touching any exposed skin.
