Date Night

Get out this summer with your special someone. Keep in mind it’s about who you’re with. Explore new interests together or share your favourite activity with the one you care most about.

Here are some ideas for a date night and what you can take with you!

  • Go for a hike or bike ride

When planning on going for a bike ride or a hike for a date keep in mind how long you expect to be out. Is it a quick, relaxed outing or will you both be gone for the day? Snacks and finger foods are great for quick outings. If you plan to be gone for a day, pack snacks that are lightweight but are highly nutritious.

Freeze an extra water bottle or two to use as cold packs to keep your food fresh, and as the day goes on, you have extra cold water.

Use lightweight re-usable containers for foods. Even though many containers are light for small periods of time, they often can wear you down.
